APPLICATION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY MARCH 24th

ATTENTION: PLEASE NOTE THE APPLICATION PROCESS MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE. NO APPLICATIONS AND OR PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL.

The online application process may be used for both the Figure Modeling Competition and / or the Dexter Jones Award. If you are only applying for the Dexter Jones Award, please check the appropriate box when registering and only submit images of bas-reliefs.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE AWARDS There are a limited number of Travel Assistance Awards available for those accepted to compete in the Figure Modeling Competition. Our intention is to try and assist those who are coming from the greatest distances and who have the greatest financial need.

If you are interested in applying for travel assistance, please provide an estimate of your travel expenses in the designated field when registering. Those receiving travel awards will be notified by email. The travel awards checks will be distributed at the Welcoming Reception.

REQUIREMENTS Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 39.

Applicants must be United States citizens or residents with a social security number.

Applicants can submit images of two (2) separate views of no more than ten (10) works of sculpture (referred to as Sculptural Images in the technical guidelines below). Include images of up to three (3) bas-reliefs - two (2) views of each bas-relief - if you wish to be considered for the Dexter Jones Award. All images must be in JPEG (.jpg) format.

Applicants must submit a biography.

Applicants must pay a $25 submission fee.

The Online Submission Process There are five steps to the online submission process. Each of these steps is described in more detail below.

  1. Register your name and contact information
  2. Enter the information on each submitted sculpture
  3. Upload the image files to our server
  4. Copy and paste your bio/resume into the designated area
  5. Pay the submission fee on our secure server

STEP 1 :: REGISTRATION The following information is required of every applicant

STEP 2 :: SUBMITTING YOUR SCULPTURAL IMAGES INFORMATION The second step of the online submission process is submitting your sculptural images information. The following information is required for each sculptural image submitted.

*by filename we mean the name of the image file associated with the sculpture. If the image file of your first sculpture image is saved as 'sculpture1.jpg', then the filename is sculpture1. Filenames should not contain spaces or special characters. The filename does not have to reflect the name of the sculpture. However, it must match the name of the image file associated with the sculpture.

You must submit the information for every sculpture before proceeding to Step 3.

STEP 3 :: UPLOADING YOUR IMAGE FILES The image upload form allows uploading three image files at a time. You can return to the form as many times as needed to upload your image files. All the files must be uploaded before proceeding to STEP 4.

STEP 4 :: UPLOADING YOUR BIOGRAPHY

STEP 5 :: PAYING THE SUBMISSION FEE After STEP 4 you will be on our secure server.
