The Elisabeth Gordon Chandler Prize

Joo Hee Bae made four life size figures during her undergraduate education, and she found that observing a human body was the best way to improve not only her skills, but also the ability to actualize her idea. Bae's final thesis project for graduate school in Korea was totally abstract forms. However, it was inevitable that her interest in making naturalistic figures continued. For that reason, she searched for a school which would offer a stronger foundation. Bae currently studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
